Japanese traditional crafts meet designs from all over the world in YOnoBI Design Competition 2004

December 13 2003--YOnoBI Project Committee is organizing YOnoBI Design Competition 2004 through which we will solicit designs from all parts of the world to produce and announce prototypes of traditional Japanese crafts at Interior Lifestyle2004fair in Tokyo, Japan in June 2004 and Ambiente fair in Frankfurt, Germany in February 2005, and ultimately aim to commercialize the products.

Through the collaboration of traditional craftwork guilds, manufacturers, domestic and overseas designers and the YOnoBI project, and with the ultimate aim to develop commercial products, we will strive to restore traditional crafts to their full potentials as marketable products with promises for further growth for the next generation.
